Alterations Made Easy – Learn to Fix and Resize Your Clothes
Our Beginner Alterations Class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to adjust clothing for a better fit. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn essential alteration skills including hemming pants or skirts, taking in waistlines, and shortening straps. You’ll also gain helpful tips on measuring, pinning, and finishing seams for a clean, professional look.
Students are encouraged to bring their own garment or project to work on and receive personalized advice and guidance. By the end of class, you’ll feel more confident making simple clothing alterations and saving money by fixing and customizing your own wardrobe.
All materials are included, so you can simply show up ready to learn. During class, you’ll complete a beginner-friendly project. Sewing machines are available to borrow if you don’t have one of your own.
Classes are held in my local home studio in Fayetteville, NC or in your location.
