Intro to Bag Making Class – Make your first purse
Learn the basics of bagmaking in this beginner-friendly class designed to build confidence and foundational sewing skills. Students will be guided step-by-step through measuring, cutting, and assembling fabric to create a functional, stylish bag. Along the way, you will learn important techniques such as seam allowance, pressing, and basic construction methods. By the end of class, you will complete a beginner-friendly bag and gain skills you can use to create many more bags in the future.
All materials are included, so you can simply show up ready to learn. During class, you’ll complete a beginner-friendly tote bag project that you can proudly take home. Sewing machines are available to borrow if you don’t have one of your own.
This is a 3 hour class.
Classes are held in my local home studio in Fayetteville, NC or in your location.
